Product Development
Most of our custom parts have been manufactured and our lawnmower is assembled and fully remote control! (Check out the video of it cutting grass below.) The next steps for us are to fit out the system with our sensors and begin transferring over our autonomous system from simulation. We will begin testing with a local golf course in the coming month so stay tuned for more footage of it in action!
NEWi Awards for Digital Creativity
This month we applied for the 2017 NEWi Awards put on by The Lunaticks Society. Currently it is the largest award program in Regional Australia for digital innovators and creatives. Earlier this month we were announced as finalists in Best Tech Start-up (Pre-Revenue)as well as Best Smart City/Green Tech Solution categories. Unfortunately we did not end up winning in either of the categories but it was humbling to have been considered as a finalist!
Congratulations! Doug Byrnes!
